INWRDAM specializes in water diplomacy, efficient water use, and disaster risk reduction (DRR), INWRDAM is a self-governing intergovernmental organization that works under the auspices of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Active on applied research and development projects in Jordan since 1987, promoting water and wastewater treatment/reuse systems, building community capacity in water-saving techniques, and assisting local industries with wastewater treatment and recycling.

(WISE), the Water Innovation for Sustainable Economy, is one of INWRDAM’s initiatives in the Jordanian highlands, which provides farmers with water harvesting systems, critical data for irrigation management, and low-cost on-farm practices to increase income and water efficiency. To help achieve its mission,INWRDAM owns four smart telemetry climate stations in the highlands, which provide hourly climate and rainfall data for the entire region.
